摘要
阿尔茨海默病(AD)是一种复杂的神经病变性疾病,其病理主要是大脑β淀粉样蛋白沉淀和tau蛋白的聚集。视网膜作为中枢神经系统(CNS)的延伸,具有相似的组织学结构以及微血管系统,因此我们推断,视网膜可以反映大脑的病变过程。光学相干层析成像(OCT)是一种非侵入性的光学扫描方法,常用于视网膜结构的横断面成像。OCT能够测量视网膜各细胞层,从而促进探索神经变性疾病相关的神经元变化。本文详细阐述应用OCT技术观察AD患者视网膜各层的变化,并展望未来发展方向。
Alzheimer disease(AD)is a complex neurodegenerative disease whose pathology is mainly the deposition of amyloid beta and the accumulation of tau protein in the brain.As an extension of the central nervous system(CNS),the retina has similar histological structure and microvascular system,so we speculate that the retina can reflect the pathological process of the brain.Optical coherence tomography(OCT)is a non-invasive method of optical scanning,often used for cross-sectional imaging of retinal structures.OCT can measure the layers of cells in the retina,facilitating the exploration of neuronal changes associated with neurodegenerative diseases.This manuscript will elaborate on the application of OCT technology to observe the changes of various retinal layers in patients with AD,and look into the future development direction.
