On the Motivation of Rural Women Entering the City in the Novels of the New Century

"农民进城"与城市化进程相生相伴,成为现代化过程中的必然现象。诱发农民进城的因素纷繁复杂、各有不同,而女性进城动因则更为复杂。在新世纪小说中,或隐或显地交代农家女的进城动因成为一些小说的情节之一,也成为此类小说研究的重点之一。通过对新世纪小说中农家女进城动因的深入分析,发现个人、家庭、他人均是其进城的重要力量,并且这三种力量不仅揭示了农家女的生存图像、命运轨迹,更对研究城市化进程、转型期底层妇女的命运具有重要的意义。
