An NHC-catalyzed oxidation reaction ofα,β-unsaturated aldehydes is reported,and a series ofα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid derivatives are obtained.The reaction uses the oxygen as the oxidant without metal,the raw materials are cheap and easy to obtain,the experiment is simple and convenient,the reaction conditions are mild,the application range of the substrate is wide,which provides a new research strategy for the efficient synthesis ofα,β-unsaturated acids compounds.
