摘要
中国农村老人自杀问题是老龄化社会的现实挑战之一。笔者通过扎根理论法,聚焦2003-2018年间国内媒体对农村老人自杀事件的新闻报道,探讨媒体如何建构中国农村老人自杀现象,以及不同阶段媒体对该议题的建构策略有何变化。笔者发现媒体在建构该议题时存有一个共性模式,即"一份悲伤故事的煽动、一种特定社会情境的植入、一个‘他者’形象的建构",并发现媒体报道视角、情感基调、媒体角色与生命关怀意识有着历时性的积极进步。
Suicide of the elderly in rural China is one of the real challenges of the aging society.By taking the grounded theory,the author focuses on the domestic media’s news reports on the suicide of rural elderly from 2003 to 2018,and discusses how the media constructs the suicide phenomenon of rural elderly in China,as well as how the media’s construction strategies on the topic change in different stages.The author finds that there is a common pattern in the media’s construction of this issue,that is,"the incitement of a sad story,the implantation of a specific social situation,and the construction of the image of "the other".The author also finds that the media’s perspective,emotional tone,media role and life care consciousness have a positive diachronic significance.
