It is one of the important tasks for library cataloguers to maintain cataloging data and ensure the quality of cataloging data.As a key item in the field,the maintenance of the call number is particularly important.The paper carries on the data analysis to maintenance ledger of the Shanghai Library,analyzes the causes of the wrong call number of the library with concrete examples,and proposes measures to reduce the wrong call number,so as to improve the completeness,accuracy and standardization of the bibliographic data.
