再论王国维的《五代两宋监本考》《两浙古刊本考》

On Wang Guowei’s Wu Dai Liang Song Jian Ben Kao and Liang Zhe Gu Kan Ben Kao

王国维的《五代两宋监本考》《两浙古刊本考》是当下关于宋代刻版史料整理的两部经典著述。从其撰写时间、材料选择、客观限制、具体内容等看,这两部著述有明显的时代印记,或者说缺憾:对一些关键的典籍,如《宋会要》《南宋馆阁录》《宋朝事实类苑》等未能征引;因其时藏书秘不示人等原因,还有一些宋元刻本没能目验(其基本上仅限于江南一地的藏书);引书不够规范,过于简略,还有一些记载错误,等等。而今,得力于交流便捷、图书开放等有利条件,得以在一个更高的层次上,从敬重前哲、尊重学术的角度,再一次审视这两部撰写于20世纪20年代、时隔100年的版本学专著,对于揭示当下如何全面、科学地整理宋代刻书史料,也是一件颇有意义和价值的事。

Wang Guowei’s Wu Dai Liang Song Jian Ben Kao and Liang Zhe Gu Kan Ben Kao are two classic works on the historical materials of block-printed editions in the Song dynasty.Viewed from the writing time,literature selections and objective restrictions,etc.,the two have clear marks of the era,or even can be said as defects,which reflect in the following aspects:some key classics,such as the Song Hui Yao,Nan Song Guan Ge Lu and Song Chao Shi Shi Lei Yuan,had not been quoted;due to collections at that time were always keept from public,a number of the block-printed editions of the Song and Yuan dynasties had not been verified personally,only referring to the collection of books in the south of the Yangtze river;the quotations were not standard,some were too brief,and some were wrong,etc..At nowadays,attributed to the convenience of communication and the openness of books,it is of great significance and value for the author at a higher level,with the respect to sages and academics,to review the monographs written in the 1920s,and to reveal how to comprehensively and scientifically collate the historical materials of block-printed editions in the Song dynasty.
