The Formation and Behavior Analysis of Activists during Agricultural Cooperation in Changsha County(1952-1956)

依靠积极分子是党在农村工作中取得成功的重要条件。在湖南省长沙县农业合作化的历史上,通过个别串联、训练班培养、办社培养等方式,塑造了一大批积极分子,他们对合作化政策的响应、落实、宣传以及社会秩序的稳定和国家政权的巩固起到了重要的作用。国家的培养和积极分子个人利益追求的双向作用,使积极分子在国家政权触角延伸、充分掌控农村地区资源的过程中作出了巨大贡献,为工业化的实现奠定了良好的基础。

Relying on activists is a vital part for the CPC to succeed in rural work. In the history of agricultural cooperation in Changsha County, a great number of activists were formed and shaped through individual liaison and community training. They played an important role in the implementation and spread of agricultural cooperation, the stability of the social order as well as the consolidation of the state power. The nationwide training and the activists ′ pursuit of personal interests enabled them to make great contributions to the expansion of state power and full control the rural areas, thus laying a good foundation for the realization of industrialization.
