China-Africa People-to-People Exchanges in the Perspective of the Belt and Road Initiative

"人文交流行动"是习近平主席在2018年中非合作论坛北京峰会上宣布的中非合作的"八大行动"之一,其目的是通过加强人文交流寻求更加广泛的发展共识,打造新时代更加紧密的中非命运共同体。就此而言,构建更加紧密的中非命运共同体是新时代中国对非合作的努力方向,而"一带一路"是构建中非命运共同体的重要平台。民心相通为推进"一带一路"固本强基,需通过人文交流等多元渠道加以推动。在百年未有之大变局的国际环境下,扩大人文交流要体现中非合作倡导的价值观,为解决非洲发展问题、深化中非关系提供更有力的智力支持。

The People-to-people Exchanges Initiative is one of the eight major initiatives for China-Africa Cooperation announced by President Xi Jinping at the 2018 Forum on China-Africa Cooperation summit in Beijing.It aims to seek broader consensus on development through strengthening people-to-people exchanges and forge a closer community of shared future for China and Africa in the new era.In this regard,it is the direction of China-Africa cooperation in the new era to build a closer China-Africa Community with a Shared Future,and"the Belt and Road"is an important platform.People-to-people Bonds are the foundation of"the Belt and Road",which needs to be promoted through diversified channels such as people-to-people exchanges.In an international environment characterized by profound changes unseen in a century,the expansion of people-to-people exchanges should reflect the values advocated by China-Africa cooperation and provide stronger intellectual support for solving Africa’s Development Problems and deepening China-Africa relations.
