Counterattack of Angle in the House--Body Space and Architectural Space in The Bloody Chamber

安吉拉·卡特是著名的后现代主义作家,其改写的童话集《染血之室与其他故事》是女性主义的代表作。该作品表达了卡特强烈的女性主权观点。本文运用空间批评理论分析了《染血之室》中女性对自己身体空间支配权的丧失,以及女性在建筑空间里的权力拓展,梳理出了卡特积极乐观的女性主义观点。

Angela Carter is a famous postmodern writer. Her rewritten collection of fairytales The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories is a representative work of feminism in which she expressed her strong feminist views. Based on the theory of space criticism,this paper analyzes the loss of women’s domination of their own body space and the expansion of women’s power in architectural space in The Bloody Chamber,and finds out Carter’s positive and optimistic feminist viewpoints.
