概念整合理论对指示映射现象的阐释

Interpretation of Deictic Projection within the Framework of Conceptual Blending Theory

当指示语不以说话者为中心时便发生了指示映射现象。这种语用异常现象将指示中心从说话者身上转移到听话者或旁观者身上。该现象可以从概念整合理论的角度来分析。输入空间一与输入空间二涉及发话人所在的现实空间和心理空间,并分别表示不一致的指示中心。两个空间依据空间获得原则进行有选择性的跨域映射反映了指示中心转移的走向,在此基础上,将两空间的共有信息整合到整合空间,产生新的信息,达到交际目的。本研究从认知的角度探讨了指示映射现象的特点和意义建构过程,向对方传达了说话者当时的情感状态以及与听话者心理距离的远近。

The phenomenon of deictic projection appears when the deictic centre is not anchored to the speaker. Deictic projection is the unusual phenomenon in communication,in which the deictic centre is shifted to addressee,or bystanders. The Conceptual Blending Theory can be adopted to explain deictic projection. Input space I and input space II are concerned with speaker’s reality space and mental space. Each of the two spaces shows distinct deictic centre. There is a selective and cross-space mapping of counterparts between the two input spaces based on the Principle of Access. It reflects the trend of shifting in deictic centre. Then the common elements in two input spaces are projected onto the blended space. Eventually,the communicators get new information so as to achieve communicative purpose. The present study is a combination of theory and practice,which plans to discuss the nature of deictic projection and examine the meaning construction process of language,showing the speaker’s emotional state and psychological distance between speaker and addressee.
