Left atrial appendage occlusion therapy can reduce the risk of bleeding in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation who are at high risk of bleeding.In traditional methodology,transesophageal echocardiography is an essential tool for preoperative screening,intraoperative guidance and postoperative followup.Recent studies have shown that multi-slice enhanced CT scan of the left atrium has unique advantages and is increasingly favored by both doctors and patients.This article will introduce the application and research progress of CT in the treatment of left atrial appendage.
