Management Technology of Economic Forest Land in Qianxi County

迁西县是纯山区县,是燕山国家级水土流失重点预防区,境内有林地面积910km2,森林覆盖率达63%,其中经济林为该县第一产业基础,传统栽培方式的经济林地,水土流失严重,严重影响果品产量和质量,制约着经济林地效益的发挥,为此我们结合该县的小流域治理工程对经济林坡地水土流失的治理模式进行了探讨,在1972年国内首创"围山转"工程造林的基础上,对经济林坡地水土流失治理形成了一整套标准化的治理模式,采用"围山转"工程整地、修建山地集雨水窖、建设高标准田间作业路相结合的治理方法,使经济林坡地的水土流失得到有效控制,果品产量及质量大幅度提高,经济效益、生态效益、社会效益明显提高。

Qianxi is a pure mountain county and a national key prevention area of soil and water erosion in Yanshan. There are 910 square kilometre of forest land and 63 percent of forest coverage in Qianxi County. Among them, economic forest is the first industrial base of Qianxi County. The economic forest land of traditional cultivation mode has serious soil and water erosion, which seriously affects the output and quality of fruits. Besides it restricts the performance of economic forest land benefits. Therefore, we combine the small watershed management of our county. The project discusses the management mode of water and soil erosion in water eroded economic forest land. On the basis of the first afforestation project in 1972 in our county, a set of standardized management mode of water and soil erosion in water eroded economic forest land has been formed. The management method of combining the project of land preparation, construction of rainwater collection cellar in mountain area and construction of high standard field operation road has been adopted. The water and soil erosion of water erosion economic forest land has been effectively controlled, the fruit yield and quality have been greatly improved, and the economic, ecological and social benefits have been significantly improved.
