The paper discusses the curriculum ideological and political education in the teaching of Specialized English in Safety Engineering and introduces such teaching method as case study and task driving“case introduction,task-driven”so as to foster the concept of“safety,health,life and environmental protection”in safety engineering majors.Which provides useful reference for the practice of similar“curriculum ideological and political theory”in professional courses in colleges and universities.
