Mr. Qian Xuesen is a world-renowned scientist who attached great importance to terminological issues. He wrote 13 letters on the translation of the term "virtual reality", which very well demonstrated his confidence in the Chinese culture and Chinese language, and also his unremitting pursuit of the "Chinese flavor" in translating scientific and technological terms. This pursuit of "Chinese flavor" is academically crucial in translating Chinese terms, demonstrating the charm of Chinese terms, and promoting the "going global"of Chinese terms.
