The Legal Entity Identifier(LEI) is the only numerical and alphabetical code assigned to a legal entity in accordance with the Identification of Legal Entity in Financial Services by International Organization for Standardization(ISO). Through the development of a set of standardized rules for the collection, dissemination and management of corporate institutional information to form a high-quality institutional base to support penetrating regulation, monitoring and analysis of systemic risks. The introduction of LEI in foreign economic management information system is of great significance in consolidating the micro-data base and preventing cross-border financial risks.
