养老机构老年人尊严理解及影响因素的质性研究

Qualitative research on understanding on dignity and influencing factors for elderly in endowment institutions

目的了解养老机构老年人对尊严的理解及其影响因素,为我国尊严养老的实施提供参考。方法采用目的抽样法,选取杭州市3家养老机构的16名老年人进行面对面半结构式访谈,使用内容分析法分析资料。结果经资料分析,提炼出3个主题群,分别是对尊严意义的理解、损害尊严的因素和维护尊严的因素。结论养老机构老年人认为尊严是重要的,每个人都应该平等地拥有尊严,处于不同身体状况和生命阶段的老年人对尊严的需求和理解不一样,需有侧重地采取相应的措施,以提高老年人的尊严感。

Objective To study the understanding on dignity and influencing factors for elderly in endowment institutions to provide reference for dignity endowment in our country.Method Choose 16 elderly from 3 endowment institutions in Hangzhou by target sampling method to receive face-to-face semi-structural interview.Analyze the information by content analysis.Result The analysis extracts 3 themes of understanding on significance of dignity,factors of dignity injury and factors of dignity protection.Conclusion Elderly in endowment institutions believe that dignity is important and everyone should own it equally.Elderly with different physical conditions and in different life stages have different need and understanding on dignity.Corresponding measures should be taken to improve their sense of dignity.
