摘要
"跨文化美术史"是李军教授新著明确提出的新的艺术史研究方法论。"跨文化美术史"研究方法既是去西方中心主义的,同时也不主张非此即彼地建构东方中心主义,与其说是建构某个文化主体,不如说是对二元对立和线性思维模式的解构,在这一点上与沃尔夫冈·韦尔施以"跨文化主义"取代"多元文化主义"有相通之处。而作为一种新的艺术史方法论尝试,"跨文化美术史"的要义在于对多元、多重、多向度视角的引入和实践,这"无问西东"的多重回看,或可为艺术史研究敞开更广阔的空间。
Transcultural art history is a new methodology of art history raised by professor Li Jun in his latest publication. This method is both anti-Western centralism and anti-Oriental centralism. Different with binary opposition and linear thinking model, transcultural history of art is deconstructed rather than constructed, which has something in common with Wolfgang Welsch’s using of "transculturalism" to take the place of "multiculturalism". As an attempt to develop a new method of art history, in my opinion, the significance of transcultural history of art lies in the multiple, multifold and multidimensional perspectives which embrace the Orient and the Occident, and might open new ways for art history research.
