The development of new media technology brings forth new opportunities to the ideological and political work of university teachers,and new challenges to the construction of high-quality teachers as well.It has become an important subject for ideological and political workers in colleges and universities as to how to eliminate the lag of ideological cognition and practical operation and accurately guide the ideological and public opinion guidance of teachers so as to build a strong cohesive ideological and political team of teachers in socialist colleges and universities.It is found that only by exploring new ways of ideological and political work of university teachers in the new media age and effectively strengthening the pertinence of ideological and political work,can university teachers truly become a guide with high qualities,practical and effective work,and a steadfast beginner’s mind in education.
