基于句法分类的汉语兼语句英译研究

A Study on the Syntactical Classification and C/E Translation of Chinese Pivotal Sentences

兼语句为现代汉语特殊句式之一。在经历了名称之争、存废之争后,兼语句的分类仍然没有一个明确的答案。此外,由于英汉句式结构的不同,对特定句式的英译成为难题。根据兼语句的句法语义特点,应明确九类兼语句句式,提出英译方案并通过示例加以说明。这一探讨进一步完善了兼语句的翻译方案,能够提升英语学习者的双语句法能力发展水平。

Pivotal sentence is one of the special constructions in modern Chinese.After experiencing the argument about its name and its existence,the classification of pivotal sentence still doesn't have a clear answer.In addition,due to the difference of sentence structure between English and Chinese,it is difficult to translate a certain sentence pattern from Chinese into English.By analyzing the syntactic and semantic characteristics of pivotal sentences,this paper defines 9 types of pivotal sentences,and puts forward the translation strategies suitable and illustrates them with examples.We aims to further improve the translation scheme of pivotal sentences and the bilingual syntactic competence of English learners.
