On the Definition and Types of Semantic Harmony

语义和谐指的是在单位相互之间的配置上不存在矛盾与冲突,或者说它们本来就是同一功能场或使用域中无标记匹配的项目。从概率论讲,对说话者或一个正常的社会人而言,条件概率P(Y|X)相当大,即如果说X,则可以由此推出Y是恰当的;但条件概率并不是一定等于1,即并不认为Y必须是百分之一百的为真,允许出现特殊的情况使Y为假。检验“和谐”关系存在的方法是,在语用蕴涵强度上,具有完全概率和大概率蕴涵关系的才是和谐的关系。语义和谐的类型目前已知的有指示和谐、常规预期和谐、语言和谐和人际和谐等几种。

Semantic harmony means compatible collocation between language units.In this case,language units are unmarked and matched items which are in the same functional or operational field.Full probability and high probability implications are harmonious in terms of pragmatic implicational strength,which is a test method for the existing harmonious relationship.The types of semantic harmony include semantic harmony,deictic harmony,conventional expectation harmony,language harmony and interpersonal harmony.
