Alcoholic cirrhosis with peripheral neuropathy:a case report

酒精性周围神经病是一种慢性酒精摄入引起的周围神经病变。近半数的长期饮酒者患有酒精性周围神经病,其临床表现多变,可致残,严重影响患者正常生活和工作,加重家庭和社会的经济负担。酒精性周围神经病的诊断主要依赖于病史、临床症状、神经系统检查,参考神经的生理、病理检查。临床主要表现为以进展性感觉受累为主的轴索型长度依赖性周围神经病。治疗方案主要为戒酒、合理运动和维生素治疗。

Alcoholic peripheral neuropathy is a peripheral neuropathy caused by chronic alcohol intake.Nearly half of long-term drinkers suffer from alcoholic peripheral neuropathy.Their clinical manifestations are variable and can be disabling,which seriously affects the normal life and work of patients,and increases the economic burden on family and society.The diagnosis of alcoholic peripheral neuropathy mainly depends on medical history,clinical symptoms and neurological examination,and reference is made to the physiological and pathological examination of the nerve.The main clinical manifestations are axonal length-dependent peripheral neuropathy with progressive sensory involvement.The main treatment options are alcohol withdrawal,reasonable exercise and vitamin treatment.
