American ethnic novels present the trend of ethnic history and culture through vivid language. In the description of ethnic experience of cultural differences and geographical location transfer,American ethnic novels reveal the prominence of assimilation, differences, and the uncanny in ethnic identity construction.By applying the basic techniques of the Qiaoyi theory, the author explores the collision and integration of ethnic culture and mainstream culture in American ethnic novels, intending to analyze the ethnic identity construction and emotional experience of ethnic groups. The analysis reveals that different cultures exist and advance in a contradicting but harmonious environment. Therefore,it is advisable for the American society to accept the fact of cultural difference and diversity, respect ethnic cultural identity, and allow the ethnic identity to advocates more discourse space so as to construct a harmonious social environment for survival.
