陶行知的女子教育思想及其现代性价值

Tao Xingzhi’s Outlook on Female Education and Its Contemporary Values

陶行知女子教育思想的形成与他的家庭背景、青少年求学和后来留美深造的经历是分不开的。陶行知的生活教育观贯穿在他的女子教育思想中。他提出,女子教育是女子获得独立的一个重要前提,能够提高家庭成员的总体素质,能够使国家强盛发达,女子应享有平等的受教育权利,发展乡村女子教育事业,以及创新女子教育的途径和方法等。陶行知女子教育思想的现代性价值体现在:为解决女子教育逻辑上存在的悖论提供了新的思维方式,要重视女子生活教育,女子教育要服务于新时代妇女发展的需要。

Tao’s concept on life education runs through his thought of female education,which believed that the access to education is an important prerequisite for women to achieve independence,can improve the overall quality of their family members,and can make the country becoming strong and developed.Therefore,great efforts should be done to guarantee the equal right of women to education,develop the education for them in rural areas,and make innovations in the ways and methods of relevant education.The contemporary values of Tao’s thought lie in that it creates a new way of thinking for solving the paradox in the logic of women’s education and attaches importance to their life education,and that women’s education should serve the needs of their development in the new era.
