This paper describes the requirement of highway sliding mode construction technology for the width of roadbed,and analyzes in detail the insufficient space required by the attached work of sliding mode subgrade in the current design.How to make improvement in the design according to the relevant specifications of highway engineering has practical significance for promoting the sliding mode construction technology and also puts forwards reasonable requirements for the road design to be in line with the advanced construction technology.
