A Pattern Language and Grand View Garden

以克里斯托弗·亚历山大的《建筑模式语言》为基础,对比分析中国著名小说《红楼梦》中的大观园的造园手法,将西方理性思维的模式语言同中国古典建筑建造手法相对比研究,以模式语言中的模式为框架,对应大观园中的造园意境,探索发现《建筑模式语言》一书中的智慧与中国古典建筑的魅力。

Based on Christopher Alexander’s "Architectural Pattern Language", this paper compares and analyzes the gardening techniques of the Grand View Garden in the famous Chinese novel "Dream of Red Mansions", and compares the model language of Western rational thinking with the classical Chinese architectural construction. Taking the pattern in the pattern language as the framework one by one, it corresponds to the gardening conception in the Grand View Garden, and explores the wisdom in the book "Architectural Pattern Language" and the charm of Chinese classical architecture.
