《建筑实践》(AP)在上海西岸的开发历程中,您认为比较关键的时间节点和推动事件有哪些?李忠辉第一个时间节点是世博会,它是西岸全面开发建设的起点。原来的徐汇滨江交通闭塞、人迹罕至,只有一些大型的工厂、码头、旧区,以及机场、铁路等装满了这片“铁锈地带”,沿江几乎没有道路和休息空间。人们完全进不到这个区域,可能连徐汇区的居民都不知道徐汇区与黄浦江有关。
Architectural Practice(AP)Could you please help us review the key milestones and driving events throughout the whole development process of the West Bund?LI Zhonghui(LZH)The first milestone is the World Expo,which is the starting point of the comprehensive developme nt and construction of the West Bund.The original tran sportation of Xuhui Riverside was in accessible and untraversed,only a few large factories,docks,old areas,airport and railway filling the"rusty area",and there was nearly no space for traffic and rest along the river.
