创伤记忆对王性初的诗歌创作具有重要影响,他的诗歌总是在不经意间再现了童年记忆的创伤,移民美国之后,因为远离故土而产生的漂泊,孤独感与童年记忆的叠加,使得王性初的诗歌具有明显的创伤和孤独意识。诗人书写创伤与孤独,而并不沉湎于苦痛与孤独。相反,这种书写成为诗人走出创伤,走出孤独的重要途径,给予了诗人直面生活的勇气。通过诗歌创作,王性初修复了童年以来的创伤记忆,以及远离故土带来的孤独感,从而缝合了记忆与现实生活之间的鸿沟。

Traumatic memory has an important influence on Wang Xingchu’s poetic creation,for his poems have always inadvertently reproduced the trauma of his childhood memories,and after his immigration to the United States,his poems have become obviously traumatic and solitary due to his drift away from his homeland as well as the combination of solitude and childhood memories.In writing about trauma and solitude,the poet is not indulged in pain and loneliness,for this kind of writing has,on the contrary,become an important way for him to get out of trauma and solitude and has given him courage to face up to life.Through his poems,Wang Xingchu has restored the traumatic memories since childhood and the loneliness brought by his drift away from his native land,thus bridging the gap between memory and real life.
