贸易竞争对中国农产品质量提升的实证分析

摘要 本文分析了降低进口关税作为贸易竞争手段对我国出口农产品质量提升的影响程度。研究结果强烈支持贸易竞争与农产品质量提升之间存在的显著正向关系,且贸易竞争水平的提高只会导致接近世界质量前沿的产品更快地进行质量升级。当样本被分为OECD和非OECD国家时,这些结果也成立,且在不同随机前沿质量边界距离、不同农产品质量度量和不同贸易竞争的方法下保持稳健。 This paper analyzes the impact of reducing import tariff as a means of trade competition on the quality improvement of China's export of agricultural products.The results strongly support the significant positive relationship between trade competition and the quality improvement of agricultural products,and the improvement of trade competition will only lead to faster quality upgrading of products close to the world's quality frontier.These results also hold when the sample is divided into OECD and non OECD countries.It also holds under different random frontier quality boundary distance,different agricultural product quality measurement and different trade competition methods.
