翻译软件的使用对二语写作中词汇运用的影响——以英语专业学生本科毕业论文写作为例

The Influence of the Use of Translation Software on the Use of Words in Second Language Writing——A Case Study on Undergraduate Thesis of English Majors

翻译软件已成为二语写作中常见的辅助工具。由于中西方思维方式和表述方法的不同,中英文写作在感知、运思、表述和检视方面也存在较大差异,因此翻译软件辅助二语写作容易在词汇运用上出现一些问题。通过调查问卷和对英语专业本科毕业论文的收集分析,发现翻译软件对词汇运用的影响主要体现在近义词辨析、赘余成分的取舍和衔接词的使用,对这些错误进行分析与总结将对二语写作的完善及未来翻译软件的改进起到借鉴作用。

Translation software has become a common aid in second language writing.Due to the different ways of thinking and expression between Chinese and Western,Chinese and English writing also has great differences in perception,thinking,expression and inspection.Therefore,second language writing aided by translation software is easy to have some problems in vocabulary application.Through questionnaires and the collection and analysis of undergraduate thesis of English majors,it is found that the influence of translation software on vocabulary application is mainly reflected in the analysis of synonyms,the choice of surplus components and the use of conjunctions.The analysis and summary of these errors will benefit the improvement of second language writing and future translation software.
