传统的流动与流动的传统性——以豫西南W乡为例

Traditional Mobility and Traditionality of Mobility:A Case Study of W County in Southwest of Henan Province

以河南省W乡的回民葬礼为例,在再现回民葬礼具体场景基础上,分别讨论了"传统"在当地葬礼中所呈现出的3种不同的表述与实践方式:对传统的本真性理解与想象、对葬礼回汉糅合新传统的合理化解释,以及普通村民日常生活意义上对传统背后民间逻辑的朴素表达。传统在日常实践中的复杂性与丰富性,说明了传统不仅仅是现代性背景下的瓦解或重构,传统概念本身更成了一种流动性的修辞,其在野的状态与多样化操演赋予普通民众日常实践以意义。因此,从"传统的流动"到"流动的传统性",应是把握传统概念的一个可能方向。

The paper takes a Chinese Muslim’s Funeral in W county in Southwest of Henan province as an example.On the basis of represent the ritual process of the funeral,the paper analyzes three different ways of practicing tradition-local Muslim clerics’understanding and imagination of true tradition and its authenticity,religious elites’justification of new tradition of mixture of Hui and Han culture,and folk logic about tradition in the sense of daily life of common villagers.In terms of traditional complexity and diversity in daily practice,the concept of tradition is rather a kind of rhetoric,which is viewed as mobility,whose current state and variable practice provide the significance of people’s daily practice.Therefore,the concept of tradition should be based on the perception from“traditional mobility”to“traditionality of mobility”.
