摘要
High-mobility group box 1 protein(HMGB1),开始只是作为一个(增强)转录因子的身份被科学家所认知。然而随着近年来人们对翻译后修饰(PTM)的高度关注,HMGB1已经变成近年来研究最广泛、最深入的HMG家族蛋白。在细胞内时,它作为DNA结合蛋白履行转录因子相关的工作,而作为细胞因子被分泌到细胞外后行使这促炎症因子的功能。此外,还有研究表明在不同肿瘤的发生和促进中HMGB1发挥着重要的作用。本文综述了近年来HMGB1通过不同的信号通路来影响和决断不同肿瘤的起源和进程方面的研究进展。
HMGB1 began to be recognized as a(enhanced)transcription factor by scientists.However,with the recent attention paid to post-translational modification(PTM).HMGB1 has become the most widely studied and in-depth HMG protein in recent years.When in the cell,it performs transcription factor-related work as a DNA-binding protein,and functions as a pro-inflammatory factor when it is secreted outside the cell as a cytokine.In addition,studies have shown that HMGB1 plays an important role in the occurrence and promotion of different tumors.This article reviews recent advances in HMGB1 influencing and determining the origin and progression of different tumors through different signaling pathways.
