Professor ZHANG Xiaoke’s Experience in Treating Acne from Yin and Fire

阴火理论是东垣脾胃学说的核心内容之一,张效科教授认为阴火与痤疮的发病密切相关,他指出随着现代生活方式的改变,痤疮一病多以"脾胃虚损,阴火上乘"为发病基础,治疗上当遵东垣之法,以补脾胃、泻阴火为主,方以甘草泻心汤异病同治。

Yin Fire Theory is one of the core contents of Dongyuan’s spleen and stomach theory.Professor ZHANG Xiaoke thinks that Yin fire is closely related to the onset of acne.He points out that with the change of modern life style,the pathogenesis of acne is mostly based on "deficiency of spleen and stomach,superior Yin fire".The treatment of Dongyuan should be followed in the way of tonifying spleen and stomach,reducing Yin fire,and treating with Gancao and Xiexin Decoction.
