古田会议是党和人民军队建设史上一个重要里程碑,古田会议决议是中国共产党和红军建设的纲领性文献。古田会议确立了建党建军的根本原则,也就是确立了党魂和军魂。党魂就是无产阶级思想领导,军魂就是党对军队的绝对领导。但它有一个探索的过程和落实的过程,因为受到社会历史条件、认识水平和“左”的错误影响,也产生过各种制约。古田会议铸“魂”之路,直到延安时期特别是经过整风运动后党的七大才得以完全实现。

The Gutian Meeting is an important milestone in the construction history of the Party and the people’s army,and the resolution of the meeting is a programmatic document for the construction of the Party and the Red Army.The Gutian Meeting established the fundamental principle for building the Party and the army,that is,the soul of the Party and the soul of the army.The soul of the Party is the leadership of the proletarian ideology,while the soul of the army is the absolute leadership of the Party over the army.However,it experienced a process of exploration and implementation,and survived a variety of constraints because of the sociohistorical conditions,the level of understanding and the influence of the“leftist”errors.It was not until the Yan’an period,especially in the Seventh National Congress of the Party after the Rectification Movement,that the road was fully realized.
