On the Development and Breakthrough of Contemporary Local Novels of Shaanxi

当代陕西乡土小说无论是从地域文学,还是从乡土小说的角度来看,都具有独特的、重要的文学价值。陕西也是中国当代长篇小说的发展重镇。陕西乡土小说作家路遥、陈忠实、贾平凹各具特色的乡土书写一方面继承了柳青《创业史》所开创的带有陕西风味的现实主义乡土小说传统,另一方面又在书写题材、地域表现和写作手法三个方面对其形成不断的突破。

The contemporary local novels of Shaanxi have unique and important literary value both from the perspective of regional literature and local novels.Since Shaanxi is an important base of contemporary Chinese novels.Its novelists Lu Yao,Chen Zhongshi and Jia Pingwa,on one hand,inherited the realistic tradition of local novels with Shaanxi flavor created by Liu Qing in his History of Entrepreneurship.On the other hand,they made continuous breakthroughs in the themes,regional expressions and writing techniques.
