摘要
现代新儒家所提出的广为流行的"内在超越"说,认为中国哲学与文化的基本特征是"内在超越",它优越于西方哲学与文化的"外在超越"。这已经被奉为关于中西文化比较的两个教条。但事实上,"内在超越"并非中国哲学的独有特征,而是中西哲学共有的普遍特征;不论中西,"内在超越"并不是比"外在超越"更优越的思想进路,恰恰相反,它的人本主义背景存在着严重的问题,应当加以反思。
The widely popular theory of the Mimmanent transcendencethat Modem Neo-Confucianism put forward holds that the immanent transcendence not only is the basic characteristics of Chinese philosophy and culture but also is superior to the u external transcendenceM of the Western philosophy and culture.The judgments have already been hailed as the two dogmas of“Immanent Transcendence”.But in truth,the immanent transcendence is not an unique feature of Chinese philosophy,but the common characteristics of both Chinese and Western philosophy.Whether in China or in the West,the immanent transcendence is not better than the external transcendence;on the contrary,the humanism as its background has brought about serious problems that should be introspected.
