“梦境”与“轶事”:《状元图考》与晚明的宫廷想象

本文以《状元图考》中的宫廷场景为例,讨论晚明流行文本之插图如何再现皇权与宫廷,以及普通民众通过何种方式构建起自身关于宫廷的想象。这些插图的模式、图像表现与视觉元素表明,其图绘模式化的视觉呈现背后亦受到多种因素的影响,如绘画传统、图像禁忌、社会风俗、舞台表演等,这些方式共同构建起了晚明民众关于宫廷的知识渠道与想象的一个面向。

This paper discusses the illustrations on court scenes in Zhuangyuantukao which was published in the late Ming.Through studies on the visual patterns and pictorial elements,this paper reveals how popular publications represent court through illustrations.The formation of these patterned images was influenced by various factors,for instance,painting traditions,image taboos,social customs,and stage performances.These are the different approaches through which the public in the late Ming could acquire information and knowledge and finally constructed their court imaginations.
