基于符号学的民族区域手绘地图设计路径探究

Exploration on the Design Path of Hand-drawn Maps in Ethnic Areas Based on Semiotics

对符号学应用于民族区域手绘地图设计的理论依据和应用方法进行分析,力图达到借助手绘地图的载体优化传播民族区域形象和文化内涵的目标。以符号学理论为基础方法,按照加强符号识别、祛除冗余信息、城市色彩定位、文化要素完善的思路,从地标、空间、颜色、地域地形、民族风情等多方面提炼出城市视觉元素,利用图形插画的形式将呼和浩特的城市特色进行了总结性的提升呈现。较蓝天白云绿草地的陈旧视觉符号,文章提出了用符号学指导内蒙古民族区域视觉符号提炼与更新的思路,在展现"天苍苍,野茫茫,风吹草低见牛羊"地域风情的同时,也可以呈现出内蒙古全域旅游、文化旅游的丰厚资源以及祖国北疆现代化城市建设的成果。

Objective This paper analyses the theoretical basis and application methods of semiotics applied to the design of hand-drawn maps in ethnic regions,and tries to achieve the goal of optimizing the dissemination of ethnic regional images and cultural connotations by means of the carrier of hand-drawn maps.Method Based on the theory of semiotics,according to the idea of strengthening symbol recognition,eliminating redundant information,urban color positioning and improving cultural elements,this paper extracts urban visual elements from landmarks,space,color,regional terrain,national customs and other aspects,and summarizes the urban characteristics of Hohhot by using graphic illustration.The improvement of knot appears.Conclusion Compared with the old visual symbols of blue sky,white clouds and green grassland,the article puts forward the idea of using semiotics to guide the extraction and renewal of visual symbols in Inner Mongolia ethnic regions.While displaying the regional flavor of"heaven and sky,vast wilderness,low wind and grass,cattle and sheep",it can also present rich resources of tourism and cultural tourism in Inner Mongolia.And the achievements of the construction of modern cities in the northern part of the motherland.
