解开美与艺术在概念上的捆绑

摘要 丑或不美的艺术的存在和经典化给传统的“美的艺术”理论带来了不小的挑战。美学和艺术理论史的发展证明,美和艺术的捆绑只是一种历史性的建构,这种建构虽然有着巨大的意义,起过巨大的作用,但这种捆绑不是基于艺术的内在本性来完成的,这一点也可以从艺术的创作和接受过程以及艺术作品本身上看出。因此,那种通过扩大美的内涵或者缩小艺术品的外延,以期丑或不美的艺术也能被纳入到“美的艺术”里的做法,无疑是非常保守的。明智的做法只能是解开美和艺术在概念上的捆绑,以期为艺术奠定新的原则,这无论对于美学和艺术理论自身的建设还是对于艺术创作的实践,都有着巨大的意义。 The existence and canonization of the ugly or the unbeautiful in art pose a great challenge to the traditional theory“art of beauty”.The developments in the history of aesthetics and art theory demonstrate the binding between beauty and art is merely a historical construction.Though it has a tremendous significance and has played a great role,it is not based on the intrinsic nature of art which can also be seen from the process of artistic creation and reception as well as the works of art themselves.Therefore,the practice of incorporating the art of the ugly or the unbeautiful into the“art of beauty”no doubt is very conservative which is achieved by extending connotations of beauty or narrowing extensions of artistic works.The advisable approach is to unfasten the conceptual binding of beauty and art thus to formulate new principles for art which has a huge significance whether to the construction of aesthetics and artistic theory themselves or to the practice of artistic creation.
