On Innovating“Four Guides”in Ideological and Political Education and Enhancing Educational Responsibilities and Commitments

高等教育的使命是培养社会主义事业的建设者和接班人。高校思想政治工作要突出的是“政治”、聚焦的是“思想”、强化的是“育人”使命责任。苏州市职业大学围绕“三个聚焦”、创新“三结合”思政工作举措,推动师生“双成就”,初步形成了以使命导向、创新导向、效果导向和机制导向为内在思路的思想政治教育新格局,为推进人才培养提供新视角。

The mission of higher education is to cultivate the undertakers and successors of the socialist cause.Therefore,much importance should be attached to three focuses in higher school ideological and political work:politics,ideology and talent cultivation.Centering on“three focuses”,innovating“three integrations”in political and ideological work,and promoting“double achievements”among students and teachers,Suzhou Vocational University has established a mission-guided,innovation-driven,effectiveness-oriented,and mechanism-governed preliminary new pattern of political and ideological education,offering a brand new perspective in promoting talent cultivation.
