浅谈广南壮语和泰语的“一”和“二”

Brief Discussion on the “one” and “two” in Guangnan Zhuang Language and Thai Language

壮语和泰语是同属汉藏语系壮侗语族壮傣语支的亲属语言,但因分化年代久远,二者在本国经济、政治、文化、社会等因素的影响下,各自处于不断的发展变化中。同时,两者都受到其他语言的影响,因此语言上存在许多相似性和差异性。通过对文山广南壮语与泰语的数词"一"和"二"的对比分析发现,造成文山广南壮语与泰语的数词"一"和"二"相同的原因主要是两者语言的同源关系和分化前共同受汉语影响;差异的原因主要是语言发展的不平衡性和语言接触等因素,如壮语主要受汉语影响,泰语则受梵语巴利语影响较大。

Zhuang and Thai languages are relatives of Zhuang-Dai language branch in Zhuang-Dong language family of SinoTibetan language family. But due to lasting differentiation, they are in constant development and change separately under the influence of economic, political, cultural, social and other factors. At the same time, both of them are influenced by other languages, so there are many similarities and differences between them. By comparing the numerals "one" and "two" between Zhuang language in Guangnan County, Wenshan and Thai language, this paper tries to analyze their corresponding relations and reveal the reasons for their similarities and differences. It is found that the "one" and "two" of the Zhuang language is the same with that of Thai language mainly because they are affected by Chinese before they are differentiated. The main reason for the difference is the imbalance of language development and language contacts. For example, Zhuang is mainly influenced by Chinese while Thai is more influenced by Sanskrit pali.
