基于片上网路的动态权重仲裁器的设计

摘要 针对片上网络系统中各个IP之间存在通讯任务繁重不一致的情况,设计了一种用于片上网络的动态权重仲裁器,利用简单的方式设计了在Lottery算法的静态仲裁方式基础上,可以检测到各个方向的通讯任务的繁重情况,并采用轮转权重方法来动态地调整各个方向上的仲裁权重。以多核间不均衡通讯为特点的3组实验表明,基于动态权重仲裁机制的仲裁器能有效提高在各IP间通讯不均衡情况下片上网络的通讯性能。 Aiming at the inconsistency of communication tasks among IP cores in Network-on-chip(NoC)system,a dynamic weight arbitrator for NoC is designed,which is based on Lottery\s static arbitration method and can detect communication heavy tasks in all directions.In heavy cases,the rotation weight method is used to dynamically adjust the arbitration weight in all directions.Three sets of experiments which are characterized by unbalanced communication among multiple cores show that the arbitrator based on dynamic weight arbitration mechanism can effectively improve the communication performance of network-on-chip in the case of unbalanced communication among IP cores.
