Bifunctional Catalyst for Direct Synthesis of Aromatics from Syngas Developed by the Wuhan University

摘要 Recently the R&D team of the Energy and Mechanical College of Wuhan University has developed a novel bifunctional catalyst for direct manufacture of aromatics via catalytic conversion of syngas.The said R&D team has designed and synthesized a hollow HZSM-5 zeolite which is coupled with the Fe3O4/MnO2 catalyst capable of producing olefin-rich products,resulting in a novel bifunctional catalyst.This bifunctional catalyst when operating under commercial reaction conditions can achieve a CO conversion of more than 90%and an aromatics selectivity of 57%,while the catalytic stability can be maintained within 180 hours.
