在华非洲留学生文化适应策略研究

Study on African students’acculturation strategies in China

近年来,在华非洲留学生的文化适应问题凸显。在“移民文化适应”框架下,笔者通过对华东地区5所高校的非洲留学生的参与式观察与访谈调研,分析了非洲留学生在中国的文化适应状况及存在问题,并提出了相应的文化适应策略。研究发现,非洲留学生在中国的文化适应围绕着向上社会流动以及更自由的生活状态而展开,受学习与生活压力、文化冲击等因素的影响,他们在中国的文化适应策略存在着情境化选择的趋势,需要加以正确引导,为中非关系深入发展提供人才支撑。

In recent years,the acculturation of African students in China has become a burning issue.Under the framework of“acculturation of immigrants”,the author analyzed the acculturation status and existing problems of African students in China through the participatory observations and interviews with African students at five universities in East China,and put forward corresponding acculturation strategies.This study found that their acculturation centered on upward social mobility and a freer living condition influenced by factors such as study and living pressure or even cultural conflicts.There is a trend of contextualized choice in acculturation strategies that needs to be properly addressed to provide talent support for the in-depth development of Sino-African relations.
