摘要
"睪"与"皋"形体相近发生混同,在文献中二者常常发生混用。古注和现代工具书中注释说"睪有皋音",又往往以通假来解释。我们认为二者声音远隔,不得相通。"睪有皋音"属于两字形体相近混用导致的"音随字转"。
Due to the similar pattern,Gao(睪)and Gao(皋)are constantly mixed in literature.Ancient annotations and modern dictionaries consider"Gao(睪)has the same pronunciation as Gao(皋)and they are interchangeable in use.However,we believe their pronunciations are quite different and shall not be interchanged.This phenomenon is caused by the similar pattern of the two characters,called"change of pronunciation due to the character".
