Library for Ordinary People:Scholarly Landscape in Urban Village

"百姓书社"是嘉定基层文化的重要载体,为实现城乡均等化全域公共文化服务体系打下了基础。文章梳理从20世纪建立居委(村)图书室,到2006年筹备实施、运营管理百姓书社的历程;概述建设过程中遭遇的困难和应对策略,揭示百姓书社的服务内容。

The library for ordinary people is an important carrier of grass-roots culture in Jiading,which has laid a solid foundation for providing equal access to public cultural service in urban and rural areas.This paper reviews the history process from the committee(village)library founded in the 20th century to the library for ordinary people founded and run in 2006.Meanwhile,it outlines the difficulties encountered in the process,proposes the corresponding countermeasures,and demonstrates the services provided by the library for ordinary people.
