青蒿提取物对犊牛生长性能和血液参数的影响

Effects of Artemisia Annua Extract on Growth Performance and Blood Parameters of Calves

试验研究青蒿提取物对犊牛生长性能和血液参数的影响。选取18头荷斯坦犊牛(日龄3±0.79 d;体重43.36±2.12 kg),将其按体重和日龄随机分为对照组和青蒿提取物处理组(试验组,30 mg·d·头^-1)。在42 d试验期内,青蒿提取物与奶混合后于每天早晨饲喂给犊牛。试验结束后开始对犊牛逐渐断奶。结果显示,与对照组相比,试验组犊牛开食料采食量和平均日增重显著提高(P<0.05),腹泻率显著(P<0.05)降低。试验组犊牛血液GLU、T-SOD、IgA、IgG和sCD4浓度较对照组分别显著提高16.33%、11.04%、28.30%、39.42%和16.65%(P<0.05)。相反,饲喂青蒿提取物后犊牛血液CHOL浓度显著下降31.50%(P<0.05)。研究结果表明,断奶前犊牛饲喂青蒿提取物能够提高其生长性能,抗氧化和免疫功能。

To study evaluated the effects of Artemisia annua extract on growth performance and blood parameters of calves,eighteen Holstein calves(day age=3±0.79 d;body weight=43.36±2.12 kg)were randomly divided into two groups according to body weight and day age:control group and Artemisia annua extract treatment group(trial group,30 mg·day^-1·calf^-1).The Artemisia annua extract was mixed with milk and fed to calves every morning throughout the 42 d trial period.The calves were weaned gradually after the trial.The results showed that:compared with the control group,the starter intake and average daily gain of calves in the trial group were significantlyincreased(P<0.05),the diarrhea rate was significantlydecreased(P<0.05).The blood GLU,T-SOD,IgA,IgG and sCD4 concentrations of calves in the trial group significantly increased by 16.33%,11.04%,28.30%,39.42%and 16.65%,respectively.On the contrary,the concentration of CHOL in the blood of calves significantlydecreased by 31.50%after feeding Artemisia annua extract(P<0.05).In conclusion,calves fed Artemisia annua extract before weaning improved their growth performance,antioxidant and immune function.
