Osteonecrosis of femoral head is a common clinical disease.It is caused by the damage or interruption of blood supply of femoral head,which results in changes in the structure of femoral head,resulting in hip pain,limited activity,dysfunction,lameness and other related clinical manifestations.When the disease develops to the later stage,it can cause disability and seriously affect patients’quality of life.Professor GUO Yong-hong uses silver needle warming acupuncture and moxibustion to treat this disease in clinic.The operation is simple,and the efficacy is definite.This article analyzed its mechanism of action,and gave examples of medical cases for communication.
