Review of and Reflection on Wu Peifu's Research in the Past Ten Years

吴佩孚研究是近年来北洋史领域较受关注的课题,十年来的研究主要围绕吴佩孚的政治活动、军事活动、人际交往、思想等展开,尽管成果不菲,但也存在视野需要进一步拓宽、比较研究不足以及有些方面的研究有待继续深入等问题。对此学界应强调总体史观,跳出吴佩孚来看吴佩孚,转换视角,发掘新史料,强化对各学科理论方法的借助等以深化吴佩孚研究。

Wu Peifu's research has been a focus in the field of Beiyang history in recent years.In the past ten years,the research has been centered on his political and military activities,interpersonal communication and thoughts,etc.In spite of great achievements,there exist such problems as narrow vision,lack of comparative studies and shallow research in some aspects.In this regard,the academic circle should emphasize the overall historical view,jump out of Wu Peifu to observe Wu Peifu,transform the vision,explore new historical materials,and strengthen the application of theoretical methods of various disciplines to deepen the study of Wu Peifu.
