The 21st century is an era of rapid development of social economy,science and technology culture,and an era of prominent knowledge economy.And the cultivation of talents depends on education.In order to meet the demand of innovative talents in the new situation,the majority of colleges and universities constantly update their educational concepts,constantly try teaching reform,and explore new ideas and methods to improve the quality of personnel training.This paper will explore the relationship between students'innovation ability and practice base,and maximize the innovation ability of engineering students in ordinary colleges and universities by giving full play to the role of practice base.
