Objective To observe the effects of active phase inflection point in the new labor standard on primiparas and multiparas. Methods 124 cases of puerperae admitted to our hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected as the study subjects. The puerperae were divided into the control group and the study group according to whether the active phase inflection point of the new labor standard was applied during the delivery process. The control group(n=62)did not apply the active phase inflection point of the new labor standard, while the study group(n=62)applied the active phase inflection point of the new labor standard. The delivery outcomes were compared between the two groups. Results The cesarean section rate and the incidence of adverse birth outcomes in the study group were 3.23%and 6.46%,respectively,which were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The number of puerperae with sufficient lactation yield in the study group was significantly more than that in the control group(54 vs.48),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The height of the postpartum uterine fundus in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of active phase inflection point of the new labor standard for primiparas and multiparas can improve the safety of childbirth and be beneficial to lactation.
